About
Media Nova is a dynamic, new-generation company at the forefront of developments in the South African publishing arena. Media Nova was founded on a philosophy of best business practices, including a commitment to exceptional levels of corporate governance / transparency, employment equity, social investment, and fully compliant with global information technology standards. With offices in the Western Cape and Gauteng, and regional representation in KwaZulu-Natal, the company was the brainchild of British entrepreneur Tony Vaughan, a former corporate consultant and project manager.
Media Nova was originally formed to create a highly desirable magazine title that would fill a niche gap in a fast-growing marketplace, that of the real estate industry in South Africa. The result was The Property Magazine, launched in the Western Cape in April 2004. This was followed by a Gauteng edition in October 2004, and a KwaZulu-Natal editionin October 2005. The model for the magazine was based on extensive research which revealed the need for a glossy magazine to showcase South African property and the lifestyle of owners, filling the huge gap that existed in the market for a dynamic, new marketing platform targeting discerning property owners, aspirant buyers and property professionals. The Property magazine now distributes over 100 000 copies nationally each month, and has won numerous accolades and awards.
Since then, Media Nova has taken on further titles as a contract publisher with a reputation for providing customised publishing solutions for its clients, which include quarterly magazines for real estate companies, an annual travel guide to South Africa which is distributed overseas.
Media Nova’s vision is to set the highest quality parameters from every perspective - from its world-class publications to legendary client service and support.
