28% readership growth for The Property Magazine

With the release of the SAARF AMPS 2008A results, it is evident The Property Magazine has set a solid foundation as its readership has grown from 326 000 to 419 000 - a staggering 28% increase. This increase in readership also comes at a time when the current economic climate has resulted in many other magazines taking a negative knock on their sales and hence their readership - a factor that doesn’t affect The Property Magazine due to its unique largely free, innovative distribution model.

“The property market has been volatile for most of 2008 and yet The Property Magazine readership continues to grow,” says Ann Ellis Brown, editor of The Property Magazine. “Besides providing a beautiful, entertaining and informative read on a subject South Africans are passionate about (property), we have become a trusted brand, one that people turn to when faced with tough property and lifestyle decisions and a brand that people are relying upon to determine the companies that they should place their trust in when they are making some of the biggest financial decisions of their life.”

Published monthly in three regions (Western Cape, Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal), The Property Magazine’s audited ABC circulation is now on 108 000 monthly. Due to the fact that the magazine allows advertisers to split advertising, thus providing the opportunity to maximise return on investment by targeting specific regions in South Africa, the audited ABC results are listed as three separate titles.
